Founder of RobustMedia, Leslie Hayman, is privileged to coordinate a range of landmark-breaking events. For example:

[2008] Celebration of Jazz Master Candido Camero in Toronto, Int'l Jazz Educators' Conference - Producer and Co-Host

  • Recognized Candido as the recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters Award

  • 4-day festival during the Conference of the International Association of Jazz Educators.

  • Featured more than several dozen noteworthy Jazz talents who voluntarily arrived to improvise with other gifted artists in an astounding performance.
     

[1992] Manufacturing Consent – Noam Chomsky and the Media, documentary event at Euclid Arts & Community Theater. Co-host:

  • Toronto film launch event with movie theatric premiere and producers’ forum.

  • Honoured to help launch the most successful Canadian feature documentary.

[Early '90's] Inaugural AMREF Film Festival
African Medical Research and Education Foundation, Toronto

  • Conceived and coordinated public fundraising in launch of an annual program of events to engage, entertain and educate people about the good work and personnel of the organization.

  • Coordinated design and produced materials.

 

[mid-1980s] First Combined Canadian & Provincial Health Promotion Associations' Conference
Marketing and Communications

  • Developed, delivered, and coordinated materials and media for the first combined annual gathering of Canadian and Ontario Public Health Associations.

  • The conference celebrated and built on the success of an international conference that produced a cooperative charter.
